Hi Backers,

This will be a long one today as we have much to share with you all!

Following up to yesterday's update, tracking numbers from the truckload delayed by Fedex have been updated! If you belong to the few where your tracking number hasn't been updated yet, please be patient as it should all be updating on their system in the coming days. 

? 2nd & 3rd Batch Grills: Tracking Number Spreadsheet

Good news is that our 2nd and 3nd batches are sent out for shipping already with a few of you already receiving your grills! Please refer to the new tracking number spreadsheet if your grill order is within #2700. We have revised the format for our spreadsheet to be more straightforward, where tracking numbers are separated by item. Spreadsheet for batch 2 & 3 can be found in the link below:

Here are some pics from when our 2nd/3rd batch items were loaded onto Fedex trucks. As we stick each item with a shipping label before we load Fedex up with our packages, often times it may not be shown on their systems with Fedex until they have chosen to scan and update it. We apologize for the confusion many have experienced with our delayed batch but rest assured, all grills are with Fedex at their facility until fulfillment.

All of our Canadian and Australian orders have been loaded onto the freight and departed on schedule. We would like to thank all of our Canadian and Australian backers for their patience and support. We apologize to our early backers who have had to wait the longest (as we were unable to ship out these grills by contribution number but instead, all at once by a whole freight) Attached are pictures of when both Australian and Canadian freights were being loaded from our manufacturer.

As more and more people receive their grills, we have noticed some issues arising from improper use. We would like to stress these points to keep in mind during use:

- Please allow for sufficient airflow within the unit (particularly airflow from the fire pit through the broiler plate and cooking grid) and not to fully wrap either the broiler plate or grid with foil. Airflow obstruction may result in fire traveling through the auger and out the pellet hopper, resulting in damage to the unit. 

- Please do not abrubtly unplug the unit while it is in operation as this may result in an error message from the control board or other unintended errors. Please allow for the unit to complete its full cool-down procedure (after switching to 'off' let it sit for approximately 15-20 minutes) before safely unplugging the unit.

-Lastly, we'd like to remind everybody that it's preferred to keep the grill lid open during direct flame grilling/searing. Alternatively, the lid should be closed during smoke mode. This will greatly aid the temperature control system's accuracy.

Thank you to all of our backers that have been waiting patiently.

After weeks of contact with Fedex's management, they have managed to find and crack open the truckload of grills that have been delayed at their facility. All remaining grills in the first batch will be sent out real soon, and everybody can expect to receive their grills within the coming week. 

First off, we would like to apologize to everybody who has been affected by this delay. We thank you for bearing with us as this was an not our intention by any means to have grills be delayed this long. We understand everybody's frustrations with the lack of communication, and we apologize sincerely as we didn't wish to make an official update until a resolution has been reached with concrete evidence from Fedex that we can present to everybody. (We've been met with the runaround for the longest time, and apologize if many of our backers have felt the same)

We would like to make it up to all affected parties by this delay, we will be emailing each person that had a grill in this truck with our compensation as a token of our appreciation for your continued support. 

PS: Everybody in the next batch can expect their tracking numbers soon as we will be following up this update with another one, specifically addressing our batch 2 tracking number spreadsheet. As per our Canadian and Australian backers, the freight has just been loaded up. More pictures of the latest developments will be found in the next update!

Hi all!

 

Thank you to all of our backers, we appreciate your continued support and patience during our debut campaign. As many of our first batch contributors have already gotten their grills, we would like to remind everybody that ALL of our contributors who’ve purchased a grill will get every single stretch goal reward. Since we finalized our final reward after we’ve loaded our first freight, we will be sending everybody marinade injectors individually to account for this.

Please bear in mind that we DO NOT recommend disconnecting the power cord directly under ANY circumstances when the unit is still on, as this will lead to control board error. We recommend to switch the unit off and proceed with it’s set cool-down procedure before disconnecting the power cord. We would like to thank everybody for their patience when dealing with FedEx and waiting for fulfillment. Although many have already received their grills, we'd like to apologize to all that are still waiting. Currently, FedEx has been having a hard time getting the rest of our packages out in a timely manner due to COVID and operating on restricted hours in order to abide by proper disinfectant procedures. We will make it up to everybody who has to deal with the extended wait once our first batch finishes shipping out! Thank you to all of our backers for your understanding. We appreciate each and every one of you!

Hi Backers,

 

We’ve been receiving a lot of questions regarding their orders and when they will be sent out. To clarify, our tracking number spreadsheet contains tracking numbers for grills, pellets and accessories now. Thus, when we refer to batch shipments we’re mostly referring to the batch of grills (and any accessory that comes on the same freight). Additionally, we’ve tried to make the spreadsheet in an easy to understand way by having it be by order number to the best of our ability but please understand that due to logistics, items are shipped in different freights and batches. Therefore, some customers with a high order number may feel that their order will be coming at a much later batch when in reality it’s in the 3rd or so batch. We’ve included a chart of approximate corresponding order numbers and the batch below for your reference. Bear in mind that the numbers are approximate and customers with high order numbers may receive their grill much sooner than expected. Lastly, if you don’t find your tracking number on the current spreadsheet, it means that your tracking numbers will be on the upcoming batches.

 

We have already sent out the grills to FedEx. If your tracking status shows "shipment information collected" when in reality the grills are in their hands, it is due to the large volume of packages collected all at once. As this is over their regular capacity, we are continuously in contact with them to expedite this shipping process so that everybody may get their grills as soon as possible. 

 

If you are interested in purchasing additional grill accessories, there will be a "survey" sending out in approximately 14 business days from BackerKit, it is the fulfillment system that we used to combine tracking numbers as we mentioned in our last update. You will have the option to add accessories that are no longer available on our Indiegogo/InDemand campaign upon receiving the notifications from them. 

 

We would like to remind everybody to double-check their email for updates and their order address as we’ve been shipping orders out. We are unable to ship to PO boxes due to the large size of our products. If you have set your shipping destination as a PO box, kindly update your shipping info on your Indiegogo order or feel free to email us at [email protected] with your order number and your preferred address to ship to.

 

Please understand that this would be your last chance to get these ASMOKE portable pellet grills on sale, we want to thank our initial contributors for supporting us and taking advantage of our start-up prices. Hi Backers!

 

We wish to thank everybody for their support. We would like to update everybody on the shipping. Due to constraints on the Indiegogo platform, where we are only able to upload a single tracking number per order; customers with multiple tracking numbers will only see their most recent one. Therefore, we have created a new google spreadsheet where customers can see all their tracking numbers all at once.

Bear in mind the grill tracking numbers contain the first batch of grills along with pellets and accessories.

*Please note that certain orders were also merged into one shipping container and we combined both of your order numbers in the format: (3304_3305) if it is combined, congratulations! Both of your items will be coming together in one package arriving all at once!

During shipping of our grills, we would like to remind everybody to double-check their shipping address and please notify us if there are to be any changes. Additionally, due to the size of our packages, we are unable to ship to PO boxes. If you have listed a PO box as your shipping destination, we kindly ask to update your shipping information.

Lastly, as we reached our stretch mark goal rewards, which will be available to all backers that have purchased our grill. Earlier orders that are missing the marinade injector as we added the last stretch-goal after they were shipped, worry not as we will be shipping those individually to you. As for the rest of our backers, all stretch goal rewards will be included within the grill packaging.

Starting tonight midnight (PDT), we will transfer to InDemand and all perks along with stretch-goal rewards will be no longer available as the crowdfunding stage is over. Now is the last chance to buy any add-ons you had in mind at discounted prices.

Official InDemand pricing: 

Moving forward, we will use Backerkit to integrate all fulfillment information as Indiegogo does not support uploading multiple tracking numbers. It will be done via a survey that is going to be sent in 14 business days, allowing you to confirm the payment, shipping address, and add any add-ons to your order if you would like. We will have more information regarding Backerkit for you in the next few days, and please be on the lookout for a new announcement (for those of you who have already received tracking numbers for the grill, please disregard). If you wish to purchase add-ons without a grill, we will provide you with an additional link to do so in 14 business days.
