We use 100% all-natural applewood pellets for fuel, sourced from fresh apple orchards. The apple trees are harvested, brought to our plant, and produced all in a few days to keep their freshness.

Q: What’s the power source of your grill?

ASMOKE grill uses electric power. Just plug into a power outlet and you’re good to go.

Q: Will the wood pellets expire or do they have a shelf life?

Wood pellets don’t expire and should be good to burn, even after being adequately stored for a long time. It’s best to always store your pellets in a dry place. Too much moisture from a humid environment will make the wood less efficient and more dangerous to burn. Too much dirt or mud will have an odor when you burn the wood. Please keep your pellets clean, sealed and store your pellets in a dry, cool space. Do not place your pellets in an extremely hot space, as they may spontaneously ignite.

Please make sure to seal the pellets and store them in a dry, cool place to prolong their freshness. Keep them away from extreme heat as they may ignite.

Q: Can I build my own bundle beside the bundles you offer?

You could build your own bundle by adding one or multiple add-on pellets. For example, if you want to buy 2 grills and 2 packs of 20 lbs pellets, you could select the 2 pack perk and at checkout, you could choose one or multiple 5lbs or 20lbs pellets as your add on.

How do I purchase less than 5 Applewod pellets?

You could claim any grill or grill set perks and choose any numbers of applewood pellets as an add on. You could choose from 5 lbs or 20 lbs packages.

Can I use the grill for camping or tailgating?

For camping or tailgating, ASMOKE grills require either US - 100~120V, 60Hz, 235W, 2-Prong Grounded Plug, or AU - 220~240V, 60Hz, 230W, 3-Prong Grounded Plug. If you want to use the ASMOKE grill without a power outlet, it must be used with an inverter to convert 12V to 120V AC, which can last about 5 hours. Please note however, that our grills do not come with inverters.

What is the U-shaped metal on the left side of the grill?

The U-shaped metal on the left side is designed to hang the meat probe.

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
